I'm done with it! I scored 20TS/20AA/20PAT and Im pretty happy with my scores. I think those of you who have not taken the test will be happy to hear that I did better on the actual test than I did on the practice tests. I was scoring around 17 and 18 for the bio, chem, and orgo on topscore and Kaplan. My best was 25 in orgo and my worst was 16 in QR (ouch, this sucks). Unfortunately I did a lot worse on the actual test in QR than I did on the practice tests. I scored a 21 on topscore 3 days ago in QR, I ran out of time and had a lot of word problems that took lots of time on the actual test. I would suggest using flashcards to study for orgo, it really helped me with predict the product questions because its the same style as you see on the test. As for QR, I dont think Im qualified to give any advice, but if I could do it again I would try to find as many practice problems as possible. The only problems I did were those on topscore and on the Kaplan tests and this really hurt me. For study material I uses the Kaplan blue book which I thought was a great, however it does not cover everything that you see on the test. I also used my old bio and chem text books, but really didnt use them very much. There are some plant questions on the test which Kaplan doesnt cover at all, so Id study those chapters a little in old text books. Other than that Id say its important to relax before the test, I wouldnt spend the eve of the test cramming material, watch a movie or something
Do you guys think that a 16 will kill me? My stats are around 3.1-2 and Im not planning on applying to the top schools.
