Is it a problem that 2 of my most meaningful experiences are in my personal comments section? I included these experiences in my personal statement because they were in fact the most meaningful. I'm not sure if I should describe them in the work and activities section though, because it will be very similar to what I say in my personal statement. How should I work around that? I probably can choose other activities, for at most 2 meaningful activities, but then I won't have any material for my secondaries.

This is my first time applying to AMCAS, so I'm not sure what the best strategy is. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

If these activities sufficiently describe you, your path, and why you would like to be a physician, I think it should be fine. Usually it's the case that one or more of your experiences in the medical field are what turned you onto wanting to be a physician. If you want to leave these experiences out of your personal statement, by all means go ahead, but don't be afraid to reiterate activities (in the experiences section & the PS) if they meaningfully led you down the road of becoming a doctor.

Just write from your heart (yours, nobody else's), with honesty and enthusiasm tempered with a bit of humility, and you'll be just fine.
