Top 3 Optometry Schools?

This forum made possible through the generous support of
SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Consider average OAT score, first-time pass rate, and quality of applicant (leadership, research, etc).

I would say Ohio State, Southern, SUNY, UC Berkeley, and Waterloo (in alphabetical order) would be the top ones consistently. The other schools test higher in certain areas every now and then, but their student numbers are more volatile.

Hope this helps!

Southern doesn't let you graduate until you pass the boards... so obviously their pass rate will be 100%. How true is that number to actual first-time passes? These are things to consider when looking at these numbers- imho.
