Hey guys,

I am writing my Canadian DAT next weekend and I am still having SO much trouble with TFE. I just cannot seem to visualize it. I have tried some of the tricks for distinguishing the right images from wrong, but since I cannot visualize the object, these tricks are not working too well for me. Can anyone give someone in my position tips on how to do TFE or how to eliminate wrong answers right away so I can at least have a 50/50 chance of getting the correct answer? Thanks!

Maybe you should try using real object and try to look at it from a top, front, end view. If you have time you should draw it out too. I hope this is helps!!

TFE is not the easiest to explain. However, one tip that can guarantee a mark is when you get a symmetrical 3D object. Normally you can tell it is perfectly symmetrical from the Top view. If this is the case, the Front and End view will be identical. Good Luck!
