This may seem like a stupid question, but can anyone (especially residents) tell me what is the advantage of going to a top "big name" research academic institute versus a "not as big named" but decent program with high volume?
I am very curious because someone on auntminnie posted that you should go to the best "top program" you can get into because it "make everything that much easier down the road"
What is the advantage (if any) of going to MIR versus a relatively strong program like UTHouston?
Thanks
