Is there an available ranking of IM residencies, with respects to prestige given by card fellowships?
If not, how would you rank your top 25 or what residencies would be in the top 25????

Thanx for the help!

No such list exists. I would search the IM forum for the numerous lists of the most prestigious IM programs as proposed by the forum members. While these are mostly subjective lists, there is a select group of IM programs that are consistently named among the top.

Then, I would search the cardiology subforum for threads discussing the most prestigious cardiology programs. Being in an IM program affiliated with one of these most well known cardiology programs can help as well.

Finally, IM programs that appear on both lists are excellent choices for those seeking a cardiology spot. Most of these are going to be pretty obvious, though. In no particular order, this list may include MGH, BWH, Hopkins, Duke, UCSF, Stanford, Emory, Mayo, Columbia, or Penn, among many others.
