In organic chem part of this it says "no alkenes" wtf does that mean? we dont have to know anything on alkenes??

Yep, alkenes are not tested.

That's how you can tell if your prep materials are updated, because they removed alkenes in 2003. Some of the materials out there still have questions on hydroboration and other alkene reactions.

Diene reactions (1,2- versus 1,4- is still a possible topic, but straight alkene, alkyne, and benzene chemistry is not).
