TOPSCORE #2 have dat in a week :(

Hi everyone,

I just took my topscore test #2 and I got 17 on bio
and 23 in chem and 22 in ochem. Those of you who used topscore and took the real DAT, did you guys think topscore 2 was similar to your actual score?

as for chem and ochem, was topscore right on the real deal?
I've been getting 19,20 on kaplan full length test for chem and ochem (kaplan has way too many calculations!!) ,
but I got 22 and 21 on the topscore 🙂)


ALso, out of three topscore, which test resembled the most with the real DAT score?

I'm flipping out cause I have a test in a week and my bio score is so bad!!!
I went through destroyer 3 times already and went through cliff bio three times 🙁(

I hit consistently 18-21's on kaplan/topscore. Got 22 in the end. I'm pretty sure you are already set for the DAT test.

Edit: As for Biology: just hope for an easy BIO section. It's extremely variable, and sometimes you get the easiest or worst bio sections. You can't really "study" for it. It's to enormous to master that it takes some luck to score extremely well in that section. Either that, or you dedicate your life to Biology -_-

I think you are good to go. A 17 in bio for topscore is not that bad. What did you score in bio for Topscore #1?

Like many people have said on here, you can expect a +1-3 increase for most sections.

i got 18 for bio on the first topscore test 🙁
for some reason, I thought the second topscore test for chem and ochem were little easier.
now i'm scared to take the 3rd topscore test 🙁
if anyone can let me know which topscore test was most representative of
the real thing, it would be awesome.

Did you guys find your ochem and chem scores on topscore to be consistent with the real thing? I always take a long time on chem section in the kaplan test, which I have about 20 min. to do the ochem, which I always rushed.
but when I did the topscore, equations were already set up.

were many of the chem caclulation problems already set up like the ones in the topscore?

I got a 21 bio, 21 ochem, and 18 g chem in topscore 2. My real DAT scores were 21 bio, 22 O Chem, and 20 G Chem, but I would say that the actual bio part is more random than the Topscore bio section. G chem and O chem are pretty similar in difficulty.
