Did anyone else do poorly on this section but end up doing much better on the REAL Bio? Everything else on the test went well, but my real DAT is in 3 days and if my Bio score is this low it's going to ruin everything else. .

I don't know what your definition of poor is. but i got 19 on TS 3 bio, did fine on real dat. The trend is you will do 1-2 points higher.

And always view practice scores with a grain of salt.

I got 16 on topscore 3 BIO, I did just fine on real one.

Duuuuuude me too. Wow this makes me feel better. What did you get on the real one / what did you do after that 16 in those last few days before the test?!

The questions that I got wrong on the 3rd one - I considered them to be very vague/not clear enough. I did not have any of that on the real DAT. Whatever I knew I knew it 100% - Let me tell you, like I was able to glance at the correct choice even before finishing reading a question. It was that simple. And on the other hand, whatever I found to be obscure I just had no idea. If I knew the name to some very specific things, then yea it would have been like the easiest questions and I'm sure I would have gotten 26 or 30 on this section. I had about 3-4 of those and I'm sure I got all of the ones I guessed wrong. I got a 22.

Topscore 3 bio definitely worried me quite a bit but don't worry. I reviewed them and I just let go it. I spent last 2 weeks reading through Cliffs one more time, redid Destroyer, repeating DATQVAULT (I literally memorized all the questions -_-)..... and on like last 3-4days reading DATQVAULT taxonomy charts, and review all of the practice questions that I got wrong before (At this point reviewing something you already know doesn't really do much, better off just resting your brain).

Good luck, I'm sure you will get at least a 20 on BIO. There will be no tricks. It's either you know it or don't know it that you don't get too many questions that you have never encountered (looks like everyone gets 2-5 of those generally speaking)

I don't remember the exact number, but it had to be between 10-12 days before my exam. It was a confidence killer but I moved on.
