So I'm going through doing topscore and I try to do the GenChem without a calculator but am getting questions wrong because I can't seem to do the math on paper. Are the calculations on the exam similar to those on topscore? Is my pen/paper math really that bad, should I be able to do this stuff without a calculator? I would like honest answers please! I mean I can obviously do addition subtraction on paper but the division is really what kills me.
To be a little more specific although it's not limited to this question, calculation of empirical formulas without a calculator. Like 44.3 divided by 195. Am I supposed to be able to do that on paper?
