hi,

i'm taking the test in about a week and i've scored 15s on the first two topscore math sections. does this mean i'm in trouble for the real thing? i've heard that you can expect a little higher on the natural science sections but what about the math?

thanks for any perspective. i know this sort of thing gets tiresome but any advice would be great

hey there bloomer!

Some of the questions on the topscore math section are harder than the real DAT math questions. But, most of them are just like the questions on the DAT. A great way to study for the math section is to go over the math section in the Kaplan review book to freshen up your skills. Then use the Barrons SAT math workbook for more excercise and examples.

About your remark about "expecting" a few points higher on some sections; please do not "expect" anything. IMO, just prepare like the practice scores are the scores you will get on the real thing. If you happen to do better on test day, thats gravy, but it shouldn't be expected.

Some people do better, some the same (like me), some do worse. anything goes!
