I am thinking about downloading topscore on a net book due to the incompatibility of topscore with my mac. Has anyone does this? Is there dimension requirements for the program? My other option is a ten year old desk top that is really slow. What are your thoughts?

Thanks.

top score isn't that hardware intensive. You will get by with it.

the Problem I see though is that it is not comparable to actual test conditions.

You're gonna be working on about a 10 inch screen. 8.9 if you were an early adopter.

you're desktop maybe a better choice to simulate actual conditions. 10 years old won't be too bad. It's slow by today's standard. But I"m guessing its either an athlon, late p3 or an early p4. those are more than enough to handle topscore.

I using my laptop to do topscore and others since my desktop monitor is a 24inch widescreen. It makes things so easy to see. And my laptop of 15 inch 4:3 is the only thing I have that's closest in size to the test centers 17/19 inch monitors.

I wouldn't recommend dl it on a laptop. Your eyes will get used to the screen size of your laptop and that will definitely become problematic specially for the PAT section.
Try to practice PAT on a desktop computer so that you get used to the screen size.
