Hello! Will someone please help me with this question? 🙁
Identify the INCORRECT statement based on the results of the following reactions:
I: NH3(aq) + HCL -->
II: BaCO3(s) + HCL(aq)-->
III: NaF(aq) + Ba(NO3)2(aq)
A. Rxn I is acid-base reaction
B. The net ionic equation for Reaction III is : 2F-(aq) + Ba(aq)--> BaF2(s)
C. Reaction II is a gas-forming reaction
D. The sum of the coefficients of the balanced ionic equation for Reaction is 6
E. None
The answer is E meaning all the answer choices are correct.
The questions I had...
When writing the net ionic equation, how do you know that BaF2 will be a solid?! And that Reaction 2 is a gas forming reaction?
Thank you 🙂 🙂😀
