niceee. Any suggestions on how to do the pattern folding? Im taking mine the 28th but Im getting like 5/15 on pattern folding and usually start the section with like 3-4 minutes left.

I wish I could help you but I'm still figuring that out myself...I am usually so flustered when I get there. What I have been doing is going backwards. Looking at the answers first starting with A and eliminating them one by one or if I come to the right one I mark it. I found trying to shape the image then look for the answer doesn't work for me.

I would develop speed in other areas to leave more time for pattern folding. Cube counting is an easy way to save time. (also hole punching for me). Angles I hear are ridiculous on the DAT so I would just go with the gut instinct.

you could get 16's on all the sections and still get into dental school - you have a 3.9 gpa. don't stress (easier said than done)

Just finished Topscore PAT 2 with a 23 and 20 minutes left after checking marked answers.

Does anyone else think that particular PAT section was way too easy? I made careless mistakes (2 in cube counting 😳) but otherwise I am suspicious.

YES. i did topscore 2 at like 2AM and when I got to PAT i was like....this is too easy,wtf?

geez, your taking the jkh approach to the dat's doing your scores good! come on now, if other people don't study much and do that well on the test, then we're all screwed!

topscore pat's are mostly rewritten questions. They're variations on similar objects. Thus, there's less thinking and fewer surprises.

My advice is study until you know & understand the material. Definitely go over the questions in Topscore and Achiever (if you have it), but memorizing questions and answers will most likely do d*ck for you on test day. I just bought DAT Destroyer and will post my thoughts on it after the test. Or before if I am bored.

They express shipped it for me. It will cost a little more though. I put it on my Fedex account so i don't even know how much it cost to ship yet. I am on Q#37 on the bio section and it appears to be a good study toll thus far.
Still a long way out from having a definite opinion of the product. I am going over bio first (my weakest subject), then maybe GChem & Ochem and QR. Time depending of course.

FYI, Dr. Romano is out of town until Sunday, try e-mailing. They may call you from vacation.
