Topscore Sciences vs. Real DAT

Hi everyone,

I just finished the Topscore 1 exam, with scores of 18 bio, 21 g chem, 19 o chem. While I was taking the test I felt like it seemed easy (I have been practicing with destroyer so far), especially the topics tested in g chem where there was only 1 solubility question.

For those of you who used Topscore and have taken the real DAT, did you feel that the natural sciences in Topscore were representative of what was on the real test? Harder? Easier?

I'm using it now to prep during this home stretch before I take the DAT next week, so any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.

For me

Topscore 1/2/3
Bio - 18/20/20
GC - 19/18/19
OC - 19/19/20

Real thing
Bio - 24
GC - 23
OC - 23

Now most people don't have that big a jump but many seem to go up a point or two.

I thought the real thing was a little bit easier, most stuff is simple and then there are always a couple hard ones thrown in.

As far as the one question on solubility thing, it will probably be similar on the real test. There are so many topics to cover, that most stuff is only covered 1-3 times no matter how hard or easy the concept concerning it is because they want to test you on all the basics.
