Topscore Test 1 scores

Hi,m taking the test on 21...I didnt get to study a lot cuz of my son...I got destroyer but haven't finished all the questions.
Here is how i did on my topscore, i took it 1st time today...not great scores..
Bio-13
Gchem-13
Ochem-12
PAT-17
QR-12
RC-18
total sciene-13

My major problem was time, i didn't think it goes by so fast for natural sciences...i thought i had time, i had only about 10 minutes for ochem..all i did was guess...in PAT, i missed over 10 questions of paper folding, cuz time went off...missed a lot of QR too...last paragraph of RC was a pretty much guess too, cuz of time...
I m planning a practice test everyday, till my exam..which is 3 more days.

What do you guys say, will it get better after more practice from destroyer and more topscore, speeding practice, or real DAT will be lot worst..

advice please.....

my scores for topscore pretty much represented the real DAT scores.
I think for the sciences focus on destroyer more.

my worst is the math....i didn't know i m so weak at math...specially under pressure...am i the only one...here like this

You may want to consider rescheduling the test. It sounds like you are trying to fit too much into too little time. Taking a practice test every day for 3 days before the test is alot... do you even have time to really review the stuff you got wrong and come back stronger and more knowledgeable for the next round? Before you spend the money on taking the test, you may want to reevaluate where you are with your comfort level for the material.

Unless some amazing things happen I would consider pushing it out at least a week.
I have the same time constraint problems as you and my math skills totally suck. I can't reason well either under time pressures so I end up making a lot of mistakes and getting wrong answers to questions I totally know.

I have been putting in 12-16hrs/day for 4 weeks now with no distractions and things are coming along but with my test only 2 weeks away (Oct. 1st) I feel I could use another month at this rate to get more confident. For me the only way I can have a chance against the clock is when I know something so well the response is automatic. If there was 2x the time I could figure out a good deal of questions I wasn't sure on but for some reason on timed standardized tests my reasoning skills really shut down.

Remember if you push the test back you need 2 business days advance or you can't do so keep that in mind.

Good luck whatever you decide to do!

thank u guys so much...i know rescheduling crossed my mind too...the only thing is that this one is already my rescheduled one....when i push it back, i don't study until the last week...cuz i have a son, i feel like ok, i have to do so many things for him...i honestly am delaying taking him to hospital for his ambdominal x-ray....until after my exam...so...i will take second topscore test tomm, see if i increase my scores, i will take real DAT, if not i will have to push it...i have all the books and everything...only thing i don't have is TIME. i guess i will even have to quit work...cuz it really gets crazy, with work, baby and studying...

if i am studying destroyer, should i expect few more points on real DAT, in comparison to topscore...since there are lots of questions from destroyer on DAT...???

Honestly, it sounds like you just want to take the test. Although several people have advised you to push it out... you need to do you want to do. Be prepared though.... scores in the 12's and 13's DO NOT get interviews! (I had a 13 on QR last year.... and didn't get one interview! After speaking with an admissions coordinator, the 13 is why!!!)

You can reschedule more than once!

NO!!!! Topscore, Destroyer, Kaplan, Cliffs, Schaums, etc. etc. etc. have no idea what the ADA is going to put on the test! Don't "expect" anything!!!

BTW... don't let your baby be the reason that you didn't do well.... let him be the reason that you rocked the test!! Do this for him!

yeah, u r right GLKDDS...i feel that i m not ready...its the family pressure, they want me to just go ahead, even if i m ready or not...but i am reviewing few topics, right now..and then i wil take practice test again today, if i do any better, then yesterday..17 and above...i will continue, if not...i will reschedule... so i shouldn't rely on thinking destroyer will help me out more on real DAT...

and thank you for waking me up and telling me that my baby is my strength, not my weakness....really thank u for it....without him i would be dead right now..my little boy has saved my life......
