How is budding considered "sexual" reproduction? I thought it was asexual.
Medusosid stages of life cycle of some members of cnidaria are formed by the process of "budding." The resulting medusae reproduce by "sexual" reproduction.
This was the answer to question, but is the second blank"s answer "sexual" because hydras can reproduce sexually as well during harsh conditions?
