Hi guys,

I just took my first topscore after studying for two months. I have no words to describe my disappointment 🙁. I took too long for gen chem ( apparently didn't even matter bc i didn't do well anyway) I only had about 13 minutes for orgo. I also ran out of time for math. but i suck at math, so I am not surprised. I thought the PAT was way easier than CDP so the scores are not very representative. Humbly, I ask for you thoughts and comments. Currently my test is scheduled two weeks from now, but I'm considering postponing it to improve on my math and chem.

here are my scores:

Bio 19
Chem 15
Orgo 18
PAT 20
Math 14 omg
Reading 20

TS 18
AA 17

Thanks a lot, guys!

you werent expecting all 25 on your first practice right. if you do get that, then you wont study. its a good thing to get little low scores. now you know the area you need to work in order to improve your self.

Stop stressing about practice score they dont mean anything. and its hard to correlate to real dat score.

thanks... you're right, I'ver covered everything, so I thought I would be in better shape, but it does open my eyes to what I have to focus on starting right now.

I was the exact same way. Got similar scores on both topscore 1 and 2 about one and two weeks before my exam but did atleast 3-4 points higher in every section on the DAT. Don't get discouraged, just keep on studying and reviewing and you will be golden!

I got 17 in gen chem when I took the three topscore practice tests, but I got 24 on the real dat. Read my break down. The only thing you can do is to practice math and review your notes. Good luck. You will do great!
