Just wondering how accurate is TopScore to your actual AA and PAT scores? And furthermore, is it even worth getting for 60 dollars?

I've seen threads for this, but they're all pretty outdated.

I had the TopScore for 3 exams. It was alright. The science was the only one that was similar with the DAT in my opinion. The RC and PAT were way too much of a cakewalk, and the way its graded is not as the real DAT would be but it's still a decent predictor. The QR was weird with some examples of stuff and layouts that I don't think you would see on the real DAT. Overall, I was glad I had it just to use as a test simulator, but the science was the only one that I thought it was worth it for.

Just curious, what did you end up getting on your PAT and RC on TopScore? And how'd that compare to your actual RC DAT score? (I see your PAT score in your signature haha)

On TopScore I got 75/90 all three times which came to like a 21. And reading comp I got 21 each time too and I got a 25 on the real thing. But the real one grades differently than the TopScore, which just follows the same scoring each time.

I also used a lot of other programs. If I could recommend one, it would be DAT BootCamp. This easily helped the most. DAT Achiever was another one, but it was mind-numbingly difficult. I took notes on everything I struggled with and got wrong and continued to review it. It is not for the faint of heart. If you had to choose one, I would say DAT BC because it was most representative overall.
Like I said, though, for the sciences I thought TopScore was fine, but everything else, I just think you can get something better with your money.

I already have bootcamp and destroyer haha. I'm taking my DAT in a month so I just want to see where I'm at! Also, I've used BC as a study guide so taking those practice tests won't be a good estimate of what I'll get.

That's true. You might like TS then for the science section. You could use it too as a full test simulator, which would be good. And the study guide method is good too for BC. Just remember the last 2 weeks or so to be taking a lot of practice tests and reviewing them.
