Topscore?

Hello there!
I am taking the DAT on Wednesday (12/1)..this is my first time and I am extremely nervous...I used Topscore and studied from Kaplan. I took a full DAT today and my scores were alright, not that great though.

Got 19 PAT
18 AA
17 Science (biology crushed me)
21 RC (this was too easy 😕 is it usually like that??? or did i just get lucky)
18 QR
So, i was wondering if topscore is accurate in telling how well you might do on the real thing. I thought the PAT from topscore was alot easier compared to KAPLAN. I haven't studied that much so i am a little worried. If you have any comments, glad to hear them...Thanks guys!!

I didn't use topscore, but I know that Kaplan's PAT is way easier than the real test. Way easier. Your scores aren't that bad, but let me ask a few questions:
-is this your first full DAT practice test?
-and are you applying this cycle?

Work hard on PAT. Expect -2 or -3 on the real DAT from topscore. The RC on the DAT is less word-for-word than topscore (there are some global/inference questions). I.e what would the author ____. As far as science topscore is harder than the real DAT and for QR keep working hard your looking good but its kinda hard on the real DAT since its the last section.

What's interesting is that my Topscore/Kaplan scores were similar all the way around, except in PAT. I did o.k. in PAT in all my practice tests, but on the real DAT I messed it up. It was very hard, harder than I had expected. Even when I look back I guess I really needed to put a lot more time and effort in order to get a higher score. Good luck on the test and let us know how you do. Also, don't be too nervous, take your time, be confident, take a snack..water as well. DON'T take a look at notes during the break... (ask the person if you can, I'm sure they'll say no.. a friend of mine told me they took this girls' test right after her break since she was looking at notes)
