-ld

yea, they have explanations on the screen while you are taking the test for the sciences and math. But not for the PAT or reading..only correct anwers for those.

Do you find topscore useful? Or I guess a better question would be, anyone whose already taken the dat and used topscore, is it representative of the real thing?

but the destroyer. it will hep you to answer some questions and will verify some important concepts for you. use TS as a secondary source of study, not primary. DAT destroyer is very recommended for any DAT taker. u can get more info on the book in orgoman.com !!!!

so is there any way to review your answers other then re-running the test? it has which things you put already on there but it looks like you just re-run the test to review answers...right?

yea that is the only way

also why can't you see the results for the reading section? it doesn't give the answers at the bottom like bio did for example. How are we suppose to check the answers for those? write down the write answers from the report screen and then runt he reading section to see the questions?

also, is there a way to change the time for the pace setter other than just disabling it? i want to give myself less time for bio and more for the rest of sciences since that matches my speed. how can i do this?

lastly, right now mine is just running the specific section of test 1. if i want to take test 2 as a whoel test and not have to restart each section do i just select complete DAT instead of the sections and it will do it?

sorry for all the technical questions but it's just frustrating cuz I got use to the kaplan CD and this one is different....thanks in advance though 🙂

yea, there is a way to do this...under the tab where you select to take a test, there is an options icon or something...can't remember off the top of my head... you click on it and it gives you the option of choosing what test you want to work on....the next drop box down, you can select the test you want to work on i.e. biology...i believe the 3rd line says full exam (it lists the time given as 4:15)
hope this helps, sorry i couldn't be more clearer...

I took the DAT two years ago and I found Topscore and the Kaplan book VERY helpful! Both were worth every cent I paid for them. The best way to use topscore is to take the tests to get used to the format and then go back and figure out what questions you missed and why. THen go back and figure out why all the wrong answers were wrong on the questions that you got right. The only thing I did not like about topscore was the Percep. part was a little different on the computer screens that you take it on-but it is ok) When I studied I almost had the entire Kaplan book memorized (I read it at least 5 times) and reviewed every Topscore question multiple times= LOTS of work but I did VERY VERY well! Good LUck🙂
