Is there any better point of furosemide when compared to torsemide ?

It looks furosemide is inferior in every aspect..

Cost. Lasix is on every $4 Rx list. Torsemide (and bumetanide) are 10-100x more expensive.

You may not have noticed but the majority of end-stage heart failure patients aren't generally the ones with good insurance coverage. In residency I had to keep Medicaid/"Self Pay" patients in the hospital for up to an extra week while we waited for approval for Bumex and Demadex scripts. Finally the hospital wised up and decided to just pay for the Rx themselves.
