Total Cost of School

For those that are in dental school, how did you estimate the total cost of schools because don't different schools offer different financial aid packages or are they similar based on needs? For example do a more well known school like USC or NYU offer more grants since they get more donations? Please comment if you know anything about this!

Most people use the school's estimates, which are available in dozens of ways. No one should be relying on scholarships/grants to make dental school affordable. There is just too much variability and competition.

Assuming you aren't in default on a student loan and are a US citizen you will be able to cover the full cost of your education with federal loans.

I was mostly saying that grants and scholarships are an unknown variable, and students should assume they'll be covering it all with loans.
