Am I the only one that is being tricked by this picture? The line I have indicated with the red arrow looks like a thin solid bar running across the top rather than a triangular shaped board.

Is this an error, or could a problem like this show up on the real thing?

Even if it was just a bar, none of the other answer choices work.

It is meant to be a triangular board. if you view the side in question as the top of the triangle, look to the bottom right. Look at the shading the used to show the discrepancy in depth.
