Spring will be my last semester. I've already applied, interviewed at one school and on hold at the rest. I am currently debating whether or not to take it semi-easy this last semester. "Easy" would be one biochem lab and a biology class and "tough" would be the biochem lab and 2 biology classes (ecology and medical microbiology). Ecology is the required class but I'm debating whether or not to drop med. micro and pick up a "fun" class along with some other GE classes to add up to full-time.
How bad would it look to medical schools if my last semester isn't as rigorous as other applicants? I don't have a lot of options for bio classes because I always took at least 3 of them every semester and due to budget cuts, my school isn't offering as many electives anymore. Also, when I filled out my AMCAS, I did list medical micro as a future intended class so I don't know if that has any effect.
Thank you for reading my spiel (sp?) and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
