Toughest interview question (?)

Question:

"If your mom was sick, would you agree to have her treated by a student doctor ? Why? Or why not? "

How would you reply to this?

With the supervision of a real doctor, yes...unless she was deathly ill or it was an emergency, then freak no!!

I don't know what I would respond, but I can tell you that that is NOT the toughest interview question.

A question such as, "What is the capital of Kosovo?" seems much more difficult to me.

In other words, with your question there isn't a right or wrong answer. It's an opinion question, which although it requires some thought, isn't too hard to answer.

But still not difficult, because you can at least come up with SOME answer that resembles something significant. If not, then you're entering the wrong profession.

I still think specific questions are more difficult. Those conceptual questions are far more thought provoking, but they aren't too difficult at all to answer.

Can you tell me the name of three Baltic Republics? Can you tell me shich African country was formerly known as Upper Volta?

Those seem much harder to me. Either you know them or you don't! Let's hope that you do!

Yeah, but I really dont think they will hold it against you if you dont know the answer.

Exactly, If they asked me those questions I would probably laugh and assume its a joke. Now the life mission question is obviously asked by some schools, and its not hard to spout something out, but it is hard to thing of a good, deep, meaningful answer real quick on the spot if you havent prepared.
