Hi all,

I am trying to decide between multiple acceptances but am leaning strongly towards Touro-CA because of its location and the fact that it's so close to family. I wasn't in love with the school but I think I could still be happy there.

When I went to interview, it was hard for me to get a sense of the student body, as the campus was pretty disjointed and the interview was fast. Did anyone else feel this way? I asked our student tour guide if he thought it was a happy student body and he paused for a while before saying, "Uh...yeah."

I was just wondering if anyone else had any further insights into the culture and overall feel of the school. Do students seem to like it? Are people happy there?

Thanks for any insight!

Yeah, I had the exact same experience!! I'm not quite in your situation yet, because I'm currently "high priority waitlisted" at this school. But I got the sense that I might have a pretty good shot at getting in, so I want to be prepared to make the decision, should it come up! I also had a hard time getting a grasp on whether or not people were happy there. I felt like I walked out of interviews at other schools with a much better feeling about the morale of the student body than I did at Touro CA. However, like the OP, it's much closer to home and family, which is a huge plus for me. I really WANT to like it, but I can't help but feel uneasy! I'd love to hear other people's opinions!
