Hi everyone,

I have an interview invite at Touro-CA in November but I'm reluctant to actually go. I live in Pennsylvania and I've already spent a ton of money and missed a bunch of classes going on three interviews. So has anyone been there to interview/current students willing to share opinions? Thanks 🙂

Go!! You don't want to pass this one up! Great school, great atmosphere, great location, great weather...it's, uh, great!!

I'm having the same problem! i jsut posted a thread about this, but no one has replied. I really need to hear some feedback about this school!!

School itself is located in several buildings that used to operate as a Naval academy. Some may not be too thrilled about the exteriors, but they are historical buildings, and it is a unique atmosphere (I think its cool) The interiors are all new.

The program is sound, the people laid-back, and the location is awesome! Students seemed happy, faculty and staff very nice. Anatomy lab rocks!

Interview is in a panel format. Just seemed to want to get to know you as a person. It is definitely worth checking out!

Oh, and San Francisco is nearby!!

Not hating on TUCOM-CA at all but I'm genuinely curious about input from M1's...

How are the mosquitoes?

A rep from TUCOM came to my school and very honestly told us that the downside to TUCOM was the mosquito swarms you get from time to time.

I've heard a lot about these supposed mosquito swarms, but I've never seen them.

My advice for cheap flights, b/c I ran into the same problem. Go Jetblue and airtran. They fly into oakland and sanfrancisco, respectively. Also, flights to san jose are pretty cheap, as well as sacramento (obviously much closer). Good luck!
