WAITLISTED for me at Tucom-NV...my top choice and I thought I was in...hopefully I can join you guys next year! Now I have to attend the rest of my interviews, not very happy about it...but congrats alpha-omega I'm happy you're in, and I'm going to fight my hardest to join you.

Hey Stretch... I know how you feel! I am the OP of this thread; however I have to sit back and wait. I am also going to try my best to get in on Early Accept. I think if I take the MCAT again it may help my standing on the list.

I decided not to fill out the secondary... I'm working on eliminating places down to only wher I truly want/have access to go. So hope that helps for those of you who truly want to go to TUCOM-NV. 😀

I think I have to go and BUY some Hawaiian shirts, for I just got accepted to TUCOM-NV. YEAH BABY!!! 😀

Acceptance email just came a few minutes ago. It feels great to get accepted to my top choice school. I'm totally elated! 👍

Thanks to Jill, Brian, Nate, and others on the interview day who helped us out a lot. 😀

Now I need to go and cancel my other interviews. 🙂

just a quick question about housing there

what part of the town (city, zip code, section, or whatever) would you guys recommend to live in?

i'm thinking about buying a small condo up there (2 or 3 bed w/ at least 2 bath)

i don't mind the commute of 15 to 20 minutes (one way)

i've kinda did a web search a bit, but i need more specific guidance here

I would stay in Henderson and look at zip codes...89074, 89012, 89052 for the most part of which is Green Valley. There are new "loft" condominiums at The District next to Green Valley Ranch Casino which I believe are great but start around $350+K. Just thought I'd throw that in. There are quite alot of condos and townhouses around and it's a buyer's market now!

No problem. Oh, also look at 89014 since that is where the school is. I was also told to stay away from 89015. Good luck with the hunt!
