I haven't seen the update changed on the ACPE website, but I got an e-mail from the dean stating that the ACPE granted us candidate status and our next site visit will be in Spring 2011.

Candidate status=1/2 way. When Touro NY graduates its first class and earns full accreditation then they can take the NAPLEX.

Students from Candidate Status schools can take the NAPLEX; since they have the same rights as students from a fully accredited school.

Just wanted to chime in to mention that Touro University - California (also a branch of Touro College) has been granted Full Accreditation today. Great news for the NY branch as you will most likely achieve the same status when the time comes. Have no doubts in Touro 👍

Great news - just checked the ACPE website and still no change. Congrats to both CA and NY campuses!
