Hi, the group interview takes place before the couple individual interviews. It starts with a team work activity, then one of the faculty member will ask questions towards the entire group after it's done. Some questions include:

What were some difficulties the group experienced?
How can you improve working as a group?

Why is Touro a good fit for you?
What contributed to your decision to become an OT?

Thank you for your help! It means a lot. I'm going to be flying out there and I never been on a plane so I feel like I'm going to be stressed out enough due to that. When did you have your interview?

I definitely liked it. The staff members are wonderful, and you can tell they care about their students. It is the main reason why I am going there. I already put down my deposit!

I interviewed the 19th too and also got in!
 
Hi guys,
I was just wondering to those who interviewed on 2/23, did they tell you when you will find out about admissions decisions or if the class is already full this year?
I interviewed on 2/16 and the wait is killing me

They said March 8 will be the day. They also said that if you're waitlisted they won't tell you where you're at on it, which is annoying. I have no idea if there are any spots left in the program either
 
welp just got the email from touro.. 2017 class is filled..

Hopefully you hear by tomorrow, I was suppose to hear by the 8th also but they informed me earlier; not sure if thats a good thing or not.
Please post if you hear any updates from Touro!

Interviewed on 2/23 and just got an email this afternoon that I'm waitlisted.

Got the email today that I'm waitlisted
 
Has anyone on the waitlist heard back yet? I am not sure when they start notifying students about decisions

I'd assume that they just move through the waitlist as people decide to leave the program. I would think that they'd want to contact the next person on the waitlist as soon as possible to make sure that the spot is filled. I haven't heard anything back either. So either no one has left the program or people have and we are not high enough on the waitlist to get that email update
