I have a question.....

I have an interview set for the end of August at UT-Houston, and I'm going to be in Houston about 2 weeks before that. Is it considered rude to contact the school about getting tours or speaking to their advisors before your interview? I've been reading the Interview Feedbacks on SDN and a lot of people complained about not being able to attend a good portion of the tours due to interview schedules, so I thought I might try to get some tours in before hand, if at all possible.

What do ya'll think??? Any help or insight would be appreciated!! 👍

It's not rude at all to ask about coming by and visiting before your interview. I personally didn't have a problem with going to all the tours and making it to the interviews, but if you have some time, then by all means check it out beforehand.

You'll see alot of construction, but it will end soon! And congrats on your very early interview 🙂

I don't see why it would be a problem. It may depend on when your interview times are, but I didn't have time to see everything when I interviewed there.

I am sure it would be fine. i was able to make a tour or two when i interviewed. Also for my first interview my interviewer and I walked around the medical center . My interviewer showed me the medical center as he asked questions and tried to tell me how great the texas medical center was .
