Yeah, I heard their application pool has doubled every year - last year, they got about 400 applicants, when the year prior they only had about 200. I am in the DC area, but did not apply (because I don't want to live in B-more, or commute from NoVA), but had a friend who did. She got that information from talking to the admissions people. OT in general is becoming VERY competitive, so I'm not surprised, especially when the DC metro area has almost no OT programs.GMU, GW, Marymount, Georgetown, AU - none of them have it, and they all have some or all of the other popular health professions.
