can any one explain this...

sympathetheic stimulation ll cause increase in tpr---->increase sv---->increse CO.

but i read tht TPR also affects afterload which inturn affects strokevolome..

decrease in tpr---->decrease in afterload---->increase in stroke volume.

can anyone explain this how can both increase and decrease in tpr cause the same effect????

can any one explain this...

sympathetheic stimulation ll cause increase in tpr---->increase sv---->increse CO.------(i think this is a special condition like during exercise that too prolonged exercise ,the tpr ll increase first heart rate increases but after prolonged exercise heart rate decreases and more accumulation of blood in the heart then will cause increase in stroke volume and cardiac out put in later stages.

decrease in tpr---->decrease in afterload---->increase in stroke volume.
--------this is the normal condition where afterload is directly proportional to tpr and inversely proportional to stroke volume.. i.e when tpr is decreased ..after load ll decrease that is the pressure required by the heart chamber to eject the blood out is decreased and hence stroke volume is increased..

correct me if iam wrong
