Hello,

I am wondering if anyone knows if TPR hyperlearning verbal workbook (2012 version) is still good for the new MCAT? I have that book and just started using it.

However, I don't want to waste my time if the new verbal section for the 2015 MCAT is different than the old! Is this book still relevant?

Thanks! [emoji851]

I'm currently doing them. They're still helpful IMO because CARS is CARS.

The only thing that has changed is that the new MCAT does not have any social science passages, so I skip them while I'm doing the TPR verbal book.

Oh ok, good. I didn't know that about the social science passages tho! Thanks

@FutureFloridaDr & @Premedgirl27 - I'm assuming you meant to say "Natural Science" as the CARS section includes Humanities and Social Science passages. You will see Social Science passages on the CARS. You will not see Natural Science Passages. I've included the possible topics below:

Social Science Topics
- Anthropology
- Archeology
- Economics
- Education
- Geography
- History
- Linguistics
- Political Science
- Population Health
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Studies of Diverse Cultures

Humanities Topics

- Architecture
- Art
- Dance
- Ethics
- Literature
- Music
- Philosophy
- Popular
- Culture
- Religion
- Theater
- Studies of Diverse Cultures

Ah yes, that's what I meant. I was tying to remember what you said in your thread, but it looks like I kind of screwed up
