can't find the TPR scale in the book but according to EK 101 VR the scale goes:

40 =15
39 = 14
37-38 = 13
35-36 = 12
33-34 = 11
30-32 = 10
28-29 = 9
26-27 = 8
23-25 = 7
20-22 =6
18-19 = 5

Heh, so I guess it's not just me.

I used one piece of equipment from TPR and it's the only book that doesn't have a grading scale. :shrug:

yea but you have to admit that tpr verbal book is quite handy and a useful practice

I'll let you know in a month 😀 Just about finished with the book. Hopefully it was good practice.

I am using the TPR book as well. My question is that there are certain passages where I get 2-3 wrong, while I get 0-1 wrong on others. I do understand that I need to do efficient post-game analysis, but I tend to get discouraged when I do not see an increasing trend in my scores. I also have the EK book, but some of their rationales are convoluted. I am thinking of just using them for endurance. If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

all i can say is im in the same boat
they'll throw some easy passage at you and you'll think you aced it max -1 and you'll miss 3 and then cue me cursing.

next passage is a killer and i'll miss 4. Then 3 passages later im back at missing 1-2 sometimes 0 i just found that when i go back and redo those passages without even remembering the passage it all came down to mindset, and just getting myself pumped as lame as it sounds thats whats helped me...anytime i miss more than 1 i attribute it to just not focusing or TPR will have some STTTTUUPPIIIIIDDD explanation that makes no logical sense, but because the passage sort of partially agrees with one of the answer choices its the right answer.

Ive gotten into some long arguments with my TPR verbal instructor and all he says is "i know stupid right"
