Hey guys

Do you think it is logical to simultaneously enroll in the Kaplan Online course and TPR? I am asking because the strength is the weakness of the other. Kaplan has a wealth of practice online while TPR has more classroom hours. I somehow feel I need the strength of both courses to do well on the MCAT😱. Please those of you who have had experiences with both, is it possible to cover the materials from these two in a span of three months?

I think a combo of TPR OR Kaplan and EK works best. I did Kaplan and EK. Honestly, the only thing Kaplan was useful for was the practice material they provided. I didn't like their review books at all. Definitely, do not sign up for Kaplan's class unless you know for a fact that you will get a good teacher. All the "teachers" around Kaplan's Irvine California center are horrible. Kaplan just didn't help that much outside of the practice questions. So just get access to their practice material, don't take their class.

So do you think taking Kaplan's online course (for its practice materials) while enrolled in a TPR course (for its review) is worth it?

I think TPR and Kaplan are too similar, so I'd pick one or the other based on review material. Just take a look at their MCAT books at a bookstore and choose based on that. Still, I'd use Kaplan for their online material and EK for review.

I was lucky enough to have access to both Kaplan and TPR online material, and the online stuff for Kaplan far surpasses TPR. Although TPR is getting better, the difficulty just isn't there like Kaplan has. Now I've only taken the kaplan course, but I've HEARD the princeton course is much better...I would recommend a Kaplan/EK combo also.

By Kaplan EK Combo, do u mean:
Kaplan classroom course, with online resources
and EK Review Notes/Lesson books

I've got both of the above, and audio osmosis, I haven't liked audio osmosis that much so far.

Are the 1001 books, other than bio/verbal, worth getting? Or will the practice from Kaplan be enough?
