TPR science workbook

For those that have used the workbook, do you feel the (passages, discretes) are easy, right on, or harder than the MCAT?

I know that some of the beginning problems are there just to test your basic understanding, but the ones at the end of sections and the passages are not that difficult. I do not want to become overconfident.

How do some of you feel? I found the Kaplan topics and sectionals harder than I would expect to see and the TPR workbook easier.

Is the truth somewhere in the middle?

I have only done one AAMC because I want to save them to the end.

Im also going through this workbook and am wondering the exact same thing! I think the passage problems are on the easier side, but seem to test your knowledge rather than your science reasoning (from passage)...I think science reasoning is more emphasized on the MCAT!

in the end it really doesnt make a difference. if ur saving the aamcs until the end, u really wont know until u take them anyways. tpr is supposed to be harder, but some seem ridiculously easy, and others seem impossible. im taking my first kaplan FL tomarrow and ive already done 7 aamc cbts so ill let u know how it matches up. ek 1001 bio is supposed to be dead on, but i have no personal experience with it.

I liked EK Bio 1001, but the erratas and faulty resasoning of some really take away from it. I find TPR workbook to be easier than EK...but a lot of people (on SDN) said they did it religiously (not missionary).

I think I will work through some of the TPR and do the kaplan sections and topicals for PS.

BTW, I like to do it with the book on top. I seem to be able to last longer when studying!!!
