TPR/SVR and Venous return

Hi,
I know low TPR can cause increased Venous return -> increase CO.
But squatting increases SVR and also increases Venous return, not decrease.
And as far as I know SVR = TPR.

Explain please.

Squatting compresses the femoral artery, which then causes an increase in SVR. the increase in SVR causes an increase in LV Afterload which then causes an increase in LV pressure compared to RV pressure, This then reverses the R to L shunt to a L to R shunt through the VSD.
