Would you say the individual passages are similar in length to the actual MCAT? As in should I spend 8 min 30 sec on each?

It depends on the passages, I would assume the real mcat is longer for most passages on hyper learning. So probably stick to 7:30 or 8 minutes to be on the safe side.
