Before I start, I have used the search function to find other forums but for some reason still have a question related to the TPRH.

So I am looking at getting all of the TPRH books. I have got conflicting answers when I searched. Essentially, are these books:

http://www.amazon.com/General-Chemi...7945/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1325116114&sr=8-6

or

http://www.amazon.com/Verbal-Reason...7961/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1325116178&sr=8-3

and so on, the same as the TPRH books you get in the class. If not, what are the differences. I am not really too concerned about costs, I'll pay a decent amount for these books (with the exception of taking the course obviously) but I want to make sure I get the right ones. I also found these on amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/2008-Princeto...=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1325116316&sr=1-4

Which ones would be better to get? Are there differences, does it matter that the second ones are from 2008, etc?

check craigslist or the sale forum on this website, you can buy a whole set for a really good price

The first two books contain the same content review as TPRH's class books. The major difference is that they don't contain nearly as many practice passages as you would get by signing up for the course. Thus, if you need these books strictly for content review and NOT as a primary source of practice material, they're fine. However, it's important to keep in mind that taking tons of timed practice passages is the key to MCAT success. Also, their verbal strategies are pretty horrid...

For the third link, those should be the classroom course books being sold by individual users. However, you can't really tell for sure until you get them. Lastly, when buying from a private seller, make sure the books are not highlighted or have any writing in them.
