For those of us who go to schools that didn't release scores to students today, can anyone share info on when the rest of us get them in the mail? Where are they sent from? Any speculation on whether they were shipped this morning or afternoon? What was the ETA in previous years? Maybe there's a website out there than can get an estimated mail turnaround time from one zip code to another.... I'm freakin. Thanks!

f/u to that post: NBME is in philadelphia at 19104. If you go to usps.com you can calculate the transit time between that zip and your zip and go from there.

So things I learned working for an industry where we mailed stuff all the time. Almost all first class mail gets everywhere in the country (well, don't know about Alaska or Hawaii) in 3 mail days. If you're in the region, it'll probably be more like 2 days. Assuming that they mail it today, most all of you should know by Saturday. Of course, it's not a guarantee.

I heard most people at my school found out Fri/Sat, but know some people last year found out Mon and Tues.

Mailing to/from Hawaii is highly variable (no idea why). Some stuff can take a week, some stuff a lot shorter.

I'm in Philly and I didn't receive anything today... 🙁

Something mailed in Philly doesn't get there same day. Doesn't matter if you are next door. You put it in the mail, it get's picked up by the mail handlers and is brought to the post office where it is sorted, and then sent back out by mail handlers on their next route, usually the next day.

so that the rest of us can be lazy and benefit from your leg work, which link should we click to get to this calculator?

ok so my father worked for the post office and he told me that first class mail generally takes a day if you live in the same state, 3 days otherwise...maybe less if you are in NY or NJ since NBME is in Philly. But our schools apparently have the scores for all of us already (our dean just emailed my entire class to tell us that most of us passed). What is the deal with that?
