Trade interview dates?

I was warned that often programs have interviews scheduled on the same dates (unintentionally?), forcing applicants to choose which program takes precedent. Unfortunately, I have now found myself in that predicament...

So, I thought I'd send a plea out there for any of you have an interview scheduled for Penn and might be flexible. I'm looking for anybody who might be able to swap interview days with me. Currently, I have 12/11 and am on the wait-list for another date.

Do you mind me asking when UPenn told you your interview date? I haven't heard back from them since I submitted my preference, and I'm getting worried. Thanks!

It was only a day or two until I received confirmation with a date. If you haven't heard back, you might want to check-in with them again.

Yes, for the most part programs having interviews on the same dates are completely unintentional. Friday is the most common day of the week to have interviews. Probably because it's the most convenient day for most programs, but also because applicants tend to like it as well. Only so many Fridays between Thanksgiving and Groundhog Day, ya know?
