Do I need to anyswer 'yes' to this?

My medical school proceeded normally and I then worked for two years in the UK on a two-year programme as all UK grads do. Training IS now interrupted since I didn't apply to the next stage of training because of applying in the US. I'll be between jobs for 10 months (assuming I get a position to start next June/July).

I assume not because medical school was not affected but just wanted to check.

Thanks to all for the wonderful help here!!!

Answer yes and briefly explain why. It is always better to explain that you were working somewhere than to have them wonder "was he in jail?" I had this same type of conundrum, being inbetween residency programs and working elsewhere for a year (long story) because the deadline for the match had passed when I left my first program. Answer yes, and life goes on...
