is it bad if your transcripts come before you send your vmcas/supps? i sent it out last week because i was scared that it would take a while...i plan to turn in my vmcas soon. also i took the gre august 28...still waiting on the scores to come, but they like to take their sweet ol time. is it all right to just submit the vmcas w/o the gre scores since i'm going to be sending reports to the schools anyhow?

I do have one question... when ordering GRE scores over the telephone, do I have to give department codes for all of the schools? I noticed taht half of the dept codes for the schools are 0617 .. is it safe to say that all of the dept codes for the schools are 0617?

Yes, when you go to order GRE scores online, you can search for department codes and 0617 is the universal code for veterinary medicine.

cool thanks man. the asr doesn't work for me either. i called them about it and they told me that it's because my score hasn't been processed yet. takes 10-15 business days, and tomorrow will be the 10th. so when your score is processed, it should work i think...i'd call them about it to make sure, but the lady told me that they do em every tues/thurs, so check wed and fri to see if it works.

Yep, that's it as long as those are the only schools you're applying to. Just make sure that those schools show up on the score report that got sent to you.

Just double check to make sure the schools actually got them! For some reason ETS sent my GRE scores to U Penn's animal science program instead of the vet school, or something like that. I wasn't too happy about coughing up another twenty bucks to have them sent to the right place, but at least I noticed in time.

I took my GRE on Aug. 19th and I got my GRE scores on September 8th so it took them 15 days. So I would just hold out for the next few days and then if you don't receive them start calling again. Good Luck!

how can u take it a day later and get it a few days earlier? that makes no sense to me...those #*%*#$*@$(!!

i have a horrible feeling something is going to go wrong w/ my gre scores. i messed up during the pretest. i didn't mark a undergrad university. does that matter? i mistakenly read it as send your scores to an undergrad uni..

these mfs love to take their sweet little time while rakin in the cash. i'm guessin it'll come by this friday (which is the 15th business day).

i emailed several universities and they were all cool w/ my situation. i had already chosen to sent scores out to davis, western, and murdoch. i sent it out to one more, but i can't remember which one that was 😕

i finally got my scores processed, but now i'm having another problem ordering them online.

when i ordered it and clicked submit, i never got a receipt or anything. it just went back to the previous page to let me see my order summary, which was the previous page b4 i could get to the order button..nor did i receive anything in my email. anyone else have this problem? how do you know if it got sent?

I have a question about the GRE. I retook it this past week and have my unofficial verbal and quant scores. I put those into the VMCAS, but do not have percentiles. I don't know if I will get the score reports before Oct 2, and I would really like to submit today or tomorrow. Should I just put 0's in there? or....????

I would just leave out the scores altogether. They'll get the official report and see your scores before they make any decisions about your application, so it's not a big deal.
