Hi 🙂

I had some concerns about my transcripts. I sent them on May 14th from california, but AMCAS has not marked them as received yet....and its already June...
I know there are many threads where people have posted about similar concerns, but it seems like May 14th is still pretty early so I am wondering why it is taking so long. Even when I factor in delivery time, it is still past the 10 business day processing time for AMCAS.

Do you all think I should send my transcripts again?

Also, has anyone sent their transcripts AFTER May 15th and had them "received" yet?

I would try sending them again or contact AMCAS. I sent mine on May 12th and they were marked as received like five minutes later.

Ive tried calling twice but both times it was an automated message saying that they were receiving a lot of calls so I had to call back later.

I sent mine may 25th but did express mail though. Just marked as received today

@Asiandoodle I thought express mail couldn't mail to PO boxes. What address did you use?

I used the PO box address. I was not aware express doesn't mail to PO addresses but I guess it sorted itself out.

Did this work itself out?
I am having similar issues, although mine was sent a little later (May 26, May 28)
FYI- the transcript I had sent on May 18 was marked "received" on May 21.

@lizlemon123 unfortunately the one I sent on the 14th got lost...when I called AMCAS they said to send a new one so I expedited another. I am still waiting for it to be marked as received 🙁 Hopefully it works out soon

@Asiandoodle I thought express mail couldn't mail to PO boxes. What address did you use?

I used express mail as well, and I called and they said to send it to this address:

I got a note from my university that my transcript was sent out on 6/1 (Monday last week) and it's not been received yet. Should I start calling around at this point, or what is a reasonable timeframe? It was sent by regular mail btw.

Does normal mail get lost at the same rate as transcripts being sent to the AMCAS? For some reason I can just see them tossing out like every 5th transcript they get and saying, "well, let's see how badly they want it". I've sent a lot of things through the mail and never had any issues until now.

I have a similar issue. Transcript mailed per registrar's office on 5/19. Still not received by AMCAS. Every other transcript received. And there were more than a few. Going to have to have them resend. Ugh

They charged me $30 for the privilege so I'm going to be so mad if the other one randomly shows up!! lol

Right! I'm just hoping they mark it as received in time for me to still be verified by the end of June.
