I'm a little bit confused about the transcript entry on PTCAS. Is it enough to just do the "Transcript Entry" and enter your grades from college? Or do I also need to send my school the "Transcript Request Form" so that PTCAS directly receives it from my college?

You need to do both. PTCAS can only verify those grades you entered by comparing them to the official transcripts that you request from your schools.

If I'm planning on retaking a class at my community college starting this fall, should I also be sending them a transcript request form as well even if I haven't taken/started classes there yet?

You enter your grades yourself into PTCAS. Be sure to have a copy of your transcript(s) next to you when doing so, so you can enter everything exactly how it is listed on there. I used an unofficial one because I could access it within seconds online rather than waiting for my university to send me an official one.

You will then request tp have your transcript(s) sent to PTCAS from your school. Be sure to include the request form.

I would hold off sending a transcript from your community college. If you haven't started taking classes there yet, then there won't be anything on the transcript lol. You will most likely be sending an academic update at the end of the fall to your programs.
