transcript grade conversion question

in the coursework section of the app, there's a menu for "aadsas grade" and it says to CONVERT your transcript grade to the appropriate aadsas grade, based on your transcript's grading scheme. i'm a bit confused here.... what do they need you to do? could someone help me out please? thanks!

Does this menu for "aadsas grade" become available only 'after' you submit an application, or is it always there (and where may I ask).
