Transcript Matching Form Question - Fax?

Would AADSAS consider the Matching Form still OFFICIAL if I were to fax the form over to my schools to send with the transcripts?

Or do I need to personally hand them in.

I think it would be just fine as long as the official transcript is coming from the school. I plan on faxing it so I don't have to drive over an hour to my undergrad university. Hopefully it will suffice.

Just read on an SDN post from 2009 (hopefully not outdates) but they will accept faxed forms. Good luck to everyone!

I called my school to make sure that the quality was good

- Do I have to submit my online application before I request to have my transcripts sent in?

I mean can I still send in my transcripts even before I complete my application?

You can send in the matching form and transcript before you submit. It apparently takes AADSAS 2-4 weeks to verify your gpas, classes, grades, and all with your transcripts that are mailed to them. In the meantime, you can overlook your application and in if anything submit your application in 2-4 weeks.

Just remember that AADSAS can't verify your transcripts until you actually e-submit your application. But you can go ahead and tell your schools to send the transcript b/c it will take a while for AADSAS to receive it.
