If you are taking still taking courses after you've applied, do you send semester and end-of-year transcripts to AMCAS or directly to the schools?

Send them directly to the school you applied to, but only if it makes a significant difference in your gpa, and you feel the school would give you greater consideration for admission. Otherwise, after you are accepted, the med school will want to see a final transcript.
